Within the project "Norway for you - Serbia", Ivan received support in starting his business, through the procurement of a nutcracker, an oil press, a grinder, a dryer, a dehydrator and a cooling chamber.
The young entrepreneur Ivan Nešić from Milatovac near Batočina has wanted to start the production of nut based oil for years, mainly because of the physiotherapy that he primarily does. At first, he started cold-pressing at home, only to prove that the walnut that grows in his yard can be a solid basis for business development.
"We often hear how impossible or too difficult it is to start your own business today and a lack of support for those who want to embark on such an adventure. My experience has shown that support still exists, but that it is necessary to research and to invest a lot of effort, in order to find exactly what you need," Ivan Nešić points out.
Within the project "Norway for you - Serbia", Ivan received support in starting his business, through the procurement of a nutcracker, an oil press, a grinder, a dryer, a dehydrator and a cooling chamber. He founded his entrepreneurial business "Agropremium" and started producing very nutritious walnut oil and flour, as well as spreads from walnuts, honey, raspberries and apples, which he sells in health food stores and restaurants.
"The support of the Kingdom of Norway was of immense importance to me, because as an unemployed person, I was not able to start my own business completely on my own. The support was reflected not only in the financial aspect, which was the most important, but not the only important segment. The professional consultations, which I unconditionally received during the project, were a big wind in my back. From the “Norway for You - Serbia” Project Team, I often received highly useful advice on how to implement obligations when establishing an entrepreneurial business and complete business setup," Ivan Nešić explains.
The First Secretary of the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Stefan Sandstad Almehagen, visited "Agropremium" in Milatovac near Batočina and witnessed that the support of the Kingdom of Norway contributed to sustainable employment in lesser developed areas.
"I am pleased that the project, funded by the Kingdom of Norway, is contributing to our goal of improving access to employment and enabling the unemployed to start their businesses," Sandstad said.
