New Jobs in Leskovac with Norwegian Support

Leskovac entrepreneur Marko Cvetković from the village of Nakrivanj had problems with loading goods in his lathe "Crni-plus Nakrivanj" for years, which he managed to overcome and improve business with the support of the Kingdom of Norway.

Creating new jobs in local communities is one of the priorities of the Government of Serbia, but also of the entrepreneurs, in order to develop their business. The Kingdom of Norway, through the project "Norway for You - Serbia", has provided more than half a million Euros to support 68 entrepreneurs and small businesses, in order to increase its capacity and employ more than 70 people.

Thus, Leskovac entrepreneur Marko Cvetković from the village of Nakrivanj had problems with loading goods in his lathe "Crni-plus Nakrivanj" for years, which he managed to overcome and improve business with the support of the Kingdom of Norway. He applied for the purchase of forklift, which significantly facilitated his daily work, and received funds of around 8,300 Euros with his own contribution of 2,100 Euros.

"The support of the Kingdom of Norway is of great benefit to me, because now it is much easier for us to lift a heavy load in a lathe, and I have taken on the obligation to hire two more new workers. Also, my company is planning socially responsible activities in our village, so that we will allocate funds for arranging the school yard in the outpost department of the Elementary School "Bora Stanković" in Nakrivanj," the owner of this company Marko Cvetković stated.
