Companies, small and medium enterprises operating in the Serbian metal and mechanical industry from Aleksinac, Trstenik, Brus, Kraljevo, Prokuplje, Kuršumlija, Boljevac, Ćuprija, Paraćin, Svrljig, Blace, Žitorađa, Soko Banja, Knjaževac and Despotovac, can apply until 15 April 2021 for various types of assistance within the public call announced by Vojvodina Metal Cluster - VMC, the Association of Professional Social Welfare Workers of Serbia and ENECA. This activity is implemented within the project "SoK-Synergy of Knowledge and New Employment in Competitive SMEs", which was supported by the Kingdom of Norway through the project "Norway for You - Serbia".
Selected companies will be provided with participation in business B2B meetings with potential customers and partners, certified training for internal quality system auditors ISO, ISO quality standardization (eg ISO 9001, ISO 14000, CE mark, etc.), as well as consulting support and participation in the program of support for the development and commercialization of innovations "VMC - Innovative Pool" and other certified training and mentoring support. The company, SME, or entrepreneur should provide a one-month internship and employment for at least one unemployed person, and the training costs will be covered by the project.
The goal of the project "SoK-Knowledge Synergy and New Employment in Competitive SMEs" is to improve business performance (market potential, sustainability and competitiveness), as well as opportunities for new employment in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of the metal and mechanical sector.
"This innovative partnership action of three respectable SME support organizations operating at the national level will contribute to balancing socio-economic development in Serbia by improving the business environment and potential of local companies in underdeveloped areas for new employment and social inclusion of marginalized social groups," the VMC states.
The public call is open from 15 March to 15 April 2021.
